The word that dominates these verses is \"consider,\" the Greek hegeomai—to add up the facts and let joy lead the way. The facts to weigh: God is faithful to limit testing to our spiritual and physical abilities; He works everything together for good for those who love Him; temptation is a trial of our faith, allowed with a view toward reward; and in adversity we have the opportunity to advance more rapidly in the faith.",
