What is the most important thing to know about the Bible?
"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Cor. 15:3–4). This is the most important thing to know about the Bible. Paul says this is number-one priority—the most important doctrine we can have clear in our minds, because it is the most important thing that Paul received: the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
